Photos

We scan loose photos front and back and save them in folders as chosen at the start of each project. Negatives and other older slide style pictures require specialized scanning equipment. Every scan we make is in at least 600dpi which is archive quality suitable for larger prints. Higher quality scanning is available upon request just be ready for some larger file sizes!

Videos

Whether they are old DVDs, VHS tapes, or anything in between we can transfer them to MP4 format files which you can take and play anywhere! We currently do not have capability to restore damaged VHS or Disc type media, but we would be happy to recommend you some places that can! (non-affiliate, we've just done a lot of research and could save you some time.)

Soundtracks

Old CDs, Cassettes, Records, whatever you've got but can't quite play we can turn it into an MP3 (or WAV file if you prefer) so you can keep enjoying your favorite recordings for decades to come!

Scrapbooks

My Mom and her Mom were the queens of scrapbooking, until I turned 10, and I have seen so many kinds of scrapbooks over the years! We can scan any scrapbook but each kind requires a different touch, or no touch. You can decide how you want your scrapbooks preserved, we decide that at the start of the project.

Objects or Books

We use a 50MP camera to take high quality photos of 3D objects or oversized items like newspapers or even for books. The advantage to this is speed. A scanner records extremely accurate depictions of what it sees, while in our studio the 50MP camera uses things like autofocus, and AI enhancement to color and contrast to get a fast high quality image of any object of any size or shape. My favorite use of the camera is for books and journals as those tend to have a lot of pages and benefit a lot from a little AI auto-sharpening and contrast.

I can convert many old file types into new file types you can access with modern softwares.

Editing/Restoration

With years of experience in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and Audition I am able to fix scratched or torn photos, bad lighting in videos, and sometimes even poor audio sources. Depending on the level of damage, some AI may be required to fill in the gaps where time may have taken its toll.

Hardware & Coding

If you have old computers or hard drives you are unable to get to turn on or work properly, I have been working with Mac and PC computers for over a decade and know how to access hard drives from up to 25 years ago. You would be surprised what we can make work again even if it has been sitting for decades!

If creating a website or a small program interests you. I am also hireable as a Full Stack Web Developer and can give you a bid for your project if you can explain it to me. I can even work with you and come up with a basic outline for your website or app, at no charge, in under 30 minutes!

My skills are much greater than simply "scanning photos," though that is mainly what I do here. I am ceritified in computer programming and web development, and coded this entire website from scratch! I can edit and normalize sound tracks in nearly any video or audio recording and have been doing that on and off for over a decade. I am writing my own TTRPG system and a campaign to showcase it that will hoepfully launch in the next year or so, and I know how to record live meetings and edit them to save for whatever reason. Maybe to record a conversational interview (live or over internet) with your grandparents before they pass or while your kids are young so they can remember their great grandma or grandpa. This job is my passion and I am very excited to help you beyond what any other scanning company would, even if it is simply by beating their price and making this finally affordable for you.
